John-David Meissner, Pastor of Christian Development |

John-David is on his second tour of duty here at New Heights. First on staff as the Family Ministries Pastor during 2002-2006, he returned in October 2008 to serve as our Pastor of Christian Development. This includes working to organize the various ministries of the church as well as moving us forward with small groups and continued growth. His passion is to see followers of Christ multiply the gifts and talents that the LORD has entrusted to them (see Matthew 25:14-30). John-David, or J.D. as he is affectionately called, also has OCD tendencies towards organization and neatness. He and his beautiful wife, Corrie, are both graduates of Oklahoma Baptist University with degrees in Education. Corrie currently serves at Stone Canyon Elementary as a Resource Teacher for K-5. When not at her full-time job, Corrie is right alongside John-David, helping in the ministry any way she can. They have been blessed with two wonderful boys, Connor and Jaden, and a beautiful daughter, Caroline. Connor’s lifelong dream is to play OU football so his dad can watch him on T.V., while Jaden’s aspirations are bent towards OU basketball. Caroline has not voiced any dreams to date. Only time will tell...
